I started Nice Parrone Design while I was a student at Anthem Institute. I love the camaraderie of working with people on projects, though I can also do freelance work holed up in my home office with a big cup of tea and some dark chocolate.
Although I spent ten years as a tech writer for computer software, I took some time off to raise my two kids. As a "stay at home" parent, I served as PTO president for my childrens' school for five years, produced the school musical for 2 years, and did Little League team parent duty for eight years (gotta love those felt banners!). When I decided to go back to work, I wanted to combine my love of fine art with my computer skills and pursue a career in graphic design.
I enjoy the process of discovering the best solution for my clients. I love the whole journey, from "This is kinda what I think I want" to "I never thought of doing it that way!" I'm so glad to be in this profession, always learning new things and collaborating with others in a creative way.
